東京ビジュアルアーツ写真学科卒業
1996年 株式会社イマ(現アマナ)に入社
1999年に同社を退社し以後フリーとして活動
2001年に代々木にスタジオオープン
2006年、㈱根本写真事務所設立
2012年、両国にスタジオ移転
